That's no dragon, that's just a habit!
Q: I'm craving sweets really bad and eating way too much. 'Any holistic suggestions?
A: You're fighting with a habit that's demanding to be fed. The good news is that your discontent is urging you to establish habits that serve you better!
Try this:
* Give your brain a break. Dwelling on the issue, reinforces it. Instead, think of something that you like about yourself.
* Pick a small habit and do it differently-- like brushing your teeth or opening doors with the other hand.
* Begin the morning with something wholesome and all day, congratulate yourself about how good it makes you feel. Oatmeal works for me or take an early morning walk to set your mode/mood.
Following these suggestions all week will help jog your brain out of its norm and will help you change your focus.
